How-to instruction
Here are some information on where things are kept and how-to-use all the amenities, like:
§ Connecting to the WiFi – The wifi unit is a little white box in the basket under the TV. Please switch on the wall plug. Then press the red button on the white box to switch the WiFi on. Once the 4 lights are showing up in a greenish colour the WiFi is active. – Now activate it by searching on your device for ZTE and connect with the password “that we provided you”. – Please note the WiFi is only for connecting phones and computers and NOT FOR streaming or video games.
§ Operate the door – Your 1st access will be via the passage door. Once inside, lock the safety gate, then lock the door, then [NB] push the bottom slide lock into its place as it helps the door not moving in windy conditions. Only use this door again on the day of your check-out. [NB] The front garden gate and patio door is ideal for privately moving in and out during your stay.
§ Heating the property – There is a portable heater in the lounge, but please do not use the air conditioning. We keep the air-conditioning off to make sure we are stress free from any viruses.
§ Washing – We do not provide a dishwasher and washer. There are various laundromats in close vicinity. [ Directions to Gordon's Bay Laundromat ]
§ Barbeque - Safely use the portable braai on the patio only. Use only coals. Do not use firewood.
§ Television - Use the Premium Dstv TV and entertainment system as you please. Just keep the volume as low as possible.
§ Water - Tap water is generally safe to drink.

Holiday let house rules
It is most importance to report any problems, damage, breakages or if anything is not working or missing as soon as possible so that we can have the opportunity to rectify any issues.
Here are some important rules:
§ Apply normal Safety and hazards rules
§ Cleanliness – Keep it clean at all times
§ Keep noise levels low at all times
§ Respecting the neighbours is important
§ No visitors are allowed and no extra guests
§ Keep the apartment secure
§ No smoking. Smoking inside the apartment is prohibited, but allowed on the patio.
§ No pets
§ No parties
§ Park only in garage nr 1.
